Our origin story…

ZipSprout started in 2016 with a simple belief: local relationships matter.

It was a way to connect businesses with real people and organizations in their backyards—long before ‘local sponsorship’ became a line item in SEO playbooks.

While these partnerships drive visibility and revenue for businesses, they’re mainly about sparking relationships that go beyond the link.

Instead of treating link building as a nuisance, spamming every prospect with automated messages, we developed a process to build links through relationships by finding a way to benefit both sides.

The business earns real visibility and trust in the community.

The nonprofit gets resources and long-term support for its mission, becoming visible to future ZipSprout clients looking to sponsor in the same community.

After nine years, 23,240 sponsorships facilitated, and $8.3 million placed, we still run on the same belief: real connections create value that can’t be manufactured.
